At BPH Canada, Dr. Kevin Zorn has curated a comprehensive team of professionals from a varied spectrum of medicine.
These experts each have dedicated practices focusing on helping patients on their journey to having a healthier bladder.
Dr. Kevin Zorn is a former associate professor of urology at the University of Montreal (CHUM) and University of Chicago, with sub-specializing in robotic surgery and BPH surgical care. He is the director of BPH Canada and co-founder of the ProCARE program with Dr. Di Wu.
With a focus on the holistic care of men with enlarged prostates, Dr. Zorn and ProCARE boasts a multi-disciplinary care pathway to accelerate recovery.
Dr. Zorn attended McGill University for his pre-med Bachelor program, then completed his medical degree followed by residency in urological surgery at McGill. He became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2005. He has completed a two-year fellowship in oncology and endourology at the University of Chicago. In 2007, Dr. Zorn also became American Board of Urology certified in urology and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Zorn’s career has consistently been hallmarked by research and a passion for innovation. Among his many firsts, he was the first in Canada and Québec to use many new BPH technologies including Greenlight XPS, Rezum, iTind, OptilumeBPH, Aquablation and Zenflow. He has also been the first in Canada to introduce cutting-edge technologies including the Clarius and ButterflyIQ point-of care ultrasound (POCUS), as well as disposable AMBU4 cystoscopes for faster patient care and safety. He is among the first physicians globally to be named as a Center of Excellence for Rezum and Greenlight vaporization and VIT (vapor incision technique). He is an international speaker and global surgical trainer for these techniques.
Dr. Zorn is the senior author of the Male LUTS/BPH guidelines for the 2018 and 2022 Canadian Urological Association and has been a consultant to the American Urological Association BPH guidelines. He has also helped create national online programs in robotic prostate cancer care and rehabilitation as well as the CUA BPH patient decision aid tool. Over the past 19 years, he has now authored 400 peer-reviewed publications and 12 book chapters on BPH and minimally invasive surgical care. With such accolades, Dr. Zorn has become a sought-after speaker, teacher and researcher. He has travelled to lecture, teach and proctor surgery around the world, and is intimately involved with the development of several new, pioneering BPH technologies. In 2024, Dr. Zorn retired from his position at the University of Montreal to dedicate his full clinical practice to BPH Canada.

Di Wu is the co-founder and lead physiotherapist of ProCARE. Trained initially as a medical doctor and orthopedic surgeon in Beijing, Di practiced surgery for several years before moving to Montreal, Canada, where he pursued physical therapy at McGill University. There, he became the first male student to enroll in the pelvic floor course, reshaping its predominantly female-focused curriculum to treat male patients effectively.
With over a decade of experience, Di has combined his surgical and physical therapy knowledge to build a comprehensive framework that consistently delivers reliable results in managing male pelvic health issues. Following years of refinement and research, his approach has become a cornerstone of effective male pelvic care.
As co-founder of Integrated Pelvic Care (IPC), he now shares his expertise with healthcare professionals nationwide and internationally, helping advance the field of male pelvic health.
Through ProCARE, Di is committed to ensuring men experience smoother, faster recoveries, improving their quality of life after prostate surgeries and addressing pelvic pain.

Stephanie Papandrea is a passionate nurse clinician and educator, dedicated to educating the next generation of nurses at Vanier College for the past two years. With a focus on evidence-based practices, Stephanie equips her students with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in the nursing profession.
Stephanie’s nursing journey began at Dawson College, where she earned her diploma in nursing, followed by a Bachelor of Nursing from McGill University. She started her professional path at the Montreal General Hospital, where she gained invaluable experience in surgical nursing across various specialties, including orthopedic trauma, traumatic brain injury, general surgery, plastic surgery, and spine surgery. After mastering these critical skills, she transitioned to the Intensive Care Unit, where she spent over three years honing her advanced critical care expertise. Even now, she occasionally returns to the ICU, ensuring her skills remain sharp and up-to-date.
As the lead nurse for the ProCARE team, Stephanie plays a pivotal role in optimizing patient care both pre- and post-operation. She focuses on delivering holistic and individualized support, ensuring seamless transitions for patients recovering from surgery. Stephanie works closely with patients and their families, educating them about the surgical process and setting realistic recovery goals while collaborating with other ProCARE members to enhance their recovery. Her work not only supports patients but also strengthens teamwork and collaboration within the ProCARE team.
Stephanie views her work as a profound honor, caring for individuals during their most vulnerable moments. She is committed to delivering high quality care while fostering trusting relationships with her patients. Above all, patient safety is her top priority, guiding every decision and action she takes.
Adrien Ouellette is a Business Administration graduate, laying the foundation for a career dedicated to operational excellence. He began his professional journey in customer service management, where he spent several years mastering the complexities of client relations and operational workflows. His experience in fast-paced, service-oriented environments quickly earned him recognition for his leadership skills and his knack for driving both efficiency and customer satisfaction.
In his role as ProCARE Operations Manager, Adrien has expanded his expertise in overseeing operations and refining processes to achieve high standards of performance. His balanced approach to strategic planning and hands-on problem-solving has established him as a respected leader, focused on enhancing team efficiency and delivering exceptional service quality.
Adrien is passionate about fostering a collaborative environment and empowering his team members to succeed. Known for his dedication to operational excellence, he is committed to building a service model that not only meets but exceeds customer expectations.
As a Wellness Specialist, on the ProCARE team, Patricia guides clients through their pre- and post-operative journeys, helping them manage stress, anxiety and navigate life transitions with confidence. Drawing on evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness, she empowers individuals to develop resilience and emotional stability.
Her approach is compassionate, supportive and tailored to each patient’s unique needs, combining empathy with practical tools for lasting change. Patricia has received her certification as a mental health coach (ACT certified) at a private institution (DBN Elite) under the supervision of a practicing psychologist. With a deep commitment to ongoing learning and growth, she continues to explore new avenues for facilitating transformation and enhancing well-being.
Sophie graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in 2010 from the Lanaudière Center of Excellence in Health. She began her nursing career in the emergency department, where she spent seven years honing her skills in high-pressure medical environments. During this time, she earned a reputation for her compassion, dedication, and exceptional clinical abilities.
In 2019, eager to take on new challenges, Sophie underwent intensive training in the operating room, becoming a member of the Corporation des infirmières des salles d’opération du Québec. This training enabled her to gain expertise across various specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, neurosurgery, ENT, plastic surgery, thoracic surgery, maxillofacial surgery, and bariatrics. Ultimately, Sophie decided to specialize in male intimate surgeries.
Throughout her career, Sophie has been a strong advocate for men’s health awareness. She has organized community workshops to educate the public about the importance of men’s well-being. Known for her ability to connect with patients on a personal level, she often takes extra time to ensure they feel heard and supported.
Samantha is the head secretary for ProCARE patients at VActive Centre de Réadaptation et de Physiothérapie. She holds a diploma in medical secretarial studies and has many years of experience in customer service. She always takes the time to listen to patients and ensure they are treated with respect and care. She is known for her organizational skills and friendly personality. She works alongside Di Wu making sure patients are taken care of and coordinates the followed-ups with physiotherapists before or after surgery.
